EXERCISE

Exercise is a natural and effective anti-stress treatment. It relieves tension, boosts physical and mental energy and enhances well-being through the release of endorphins. Even 20 minutes a day will do wonders.

It doesn’t have to be a boring session on the treadmill every day either. A walk in nature in the beautiful springtime can be wonderfully life-affirming rather than a dreaded challenge. Yoga is also great for improving strength, body definition and, of course, holistic well-being. Other options include swimming in the local pool or in the sea, and don’t forget that digging in the garden counts too!

Using a loofah or natural bristle brush, start at your feet and brush upward towards the heart. Use firm, small strokes or work in a circular motion. Repeat all over for 3-5 minutes.
