Spruce Black essential oil is gentle enough for use with children and the elderly and has tonic qualities for the weak and fragile. It is especially useful for respiratory conditions as it has antiseptic, antimicrobial and expectorant properties, as well as a splendid deep forest aroma that penetrates congestion and supports healthy breathing. It is generally non-irritating and non-toxic.
- Baby's Congestion
Spruce Black is exceptionally helpful for little ones when they are all clogged up and full of the sniffles. A drop or 2 added to the babygrow collar will help ease congestion and promote healthy immunity. May be diffused also as a protective measure against airborne germs.
To encourage deep respiration and aid restorative process following excess adrenaline output, add 10 drops to a diffuser or direct to bath water. For stress-related exhaustion, apply 1-2 drops direct to spine in the middle of the back.
- Adrenal Glands
Spruce Black essential oil is particularly suited to supporting the restoration of depleted and overworked adrenal glands, apply 2 drops each to the back of your hands before bed, preferably wear cotton gloves, repeat every night for 7 days.
To assist healthy respiration and help clear congestion and infection, add 2-3 drops to a steam inhalation. Add 2 drops to 1/4 tsp of Absolute Massage Cream and apply to chest and throat (may be used alongside conventional medicine).
